Systems Limited Reports 14% Increase in Profit for Second Quarter 2026 on Back of Confiz Acquisition

Karachi: Systems Limited has announced its financial results for the second quarter of the calendar year 2026, showcasing a 14% year-over-year increase in profit after tax. The company reported a profit after tax of PkR3.0 billion, with earnings per share rising to PkR2.0, attributed to significant topline growth driven by the acquisition of Confiz.

According to AKD Securities Limited, Systems Limited recorded a revenue of PkR25.7 billion in the second quarter of 2026, marking a 38% increase compared to the same period last year. This growth is linked to substantial increases in revenue across various regions, including the Asia Pacific, Pakistan, North America, Middle East, and Europe. Notably, the North American region's growth was primarily due to the Confiz acquisition.

The company's gross margins improved to 25.8%, reflecting an increase of 46 basis points year-over-year and 66 basis points quarter-over-quarter. The improvement was mainly due to better performance in the Asia Pacific region, though it was somewhat offset by the appreciation of the Pakistani Rupee against the US Dollar and annual wage adjustments prompted by fuel inflation. Additionally, finance costs doubled year-over-year to PkR174 million, driven by higher borrowings to meet increased working capital needs.
