Karachi: Systems Limited announced a 21% year-on-year increase in its profit after tax for the first quarter of the calendar year 2026, reaching PkR3.0 billion compared to PkR2.5 billion in the same period last year. The earnings growth was driven by strong regional performance and the recent acquisition of Confiz Pakistan.
According to AKD Securities Limited, the financial results, which were released today, showed a slight deviation from profit estimates due to lower margins than anticipated. The company's revenue rose to PkR24.0 billion, marking a 33% increase from PkR18.1 billion in the corresponding period of the previous year. This growth was attributed to significant increases in the Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa, Europe, and North America regions, with the latter benefiting from the integration of Confiz Pakistan, which was completed at the start of the year following court approval. The acquisition also resulted in the company's outstanding shares rising to 1,531 million.
