Lahore: The Pakistan China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI), in collaboration with E-Commerce Gateway Pakistan Pvt. Ltd., is set to host the three-day "Textile Asia International Exhibition" at the Lahore Expo Centre from August 3rd to 5th, 2024. The event promises to be a significant gathering for the textile industry, featuring over 550 participating companies from more than 11 countries.
According to Pakistan China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the exhibition aims to showcase a wide array of textile and garment machinery, accessories, raw materials, and related services. Dr. Khursheed Nizam, President of E-Commerce Gateway Pakistan, emphasized during a review meeting that the exhibition will serve as a crucial platform for exploring the buying and selling potential within the textile sector and fostering international partnerships.
The event, marking its 25th iteration, is expected to motivate local businesses and facilitate joint ventures between international brands and local companies from key Pakistani industrial cities such as Gujranwala, Lahore, Sialkot, and Faisalabad. Moazzam Ghurki, President of PCJCCI, highlighted plans to provide specialized training to engineers involved in the manufacture of sewing and textile machinery parts.
Hamza Khalid, Vice President of PCJCCI, noted that the exhibition is poised to enhance the visibility of overseas suppliers and introduce them to the Pakistani textile and garment industry, thereby supporting the industry's growth and innovation. Mr. Salahuddin Hanif, Secretary General of PCJCCI, expressed pride in leveraging this platform to demonstrate Pakistan's textile capabilities and drive the industry toward sustainable development.
