Karachi: The Texworld, Apparel Sourcing, and Home Textiles Sourcing USA 2024 exhibition, organized by Messe Frankfurt in the USA, concluded with significant success on July 18th at the Javits Center in New York City. The event showcased a diverse range of textile and apparel innovations from around the globe, featuring country pavilions from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Korea, India, and Taiwan.
According to Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, the event was marked by a strong turnout of both new and returning buyers exploring sourcing opportunities from over 24 countries, including China, Türkiye, USA, Peru, and Egypt. Pakistan's participation was particularly notable, with eight manufacturers such as Qapla Industries, Rajwani Denim, Shahtaj Textile, Mahmood Textile, Castle Industries, Hometex Corporation, Pak Home, and Terry Tex making a significant impact through both direct exhibitions and a national pavilion organized by TDAP.
Texworld USA serves as one of the largest sourcing events on the East Coast for apparel fabric buyers, designers, and sourcing professionals. The international platform provided attendees with a comprehensive product range that included everything from casual cotton and functional fabrics to sophisticated knits and intricate laces, offering fresh insights into textile trends and innovations each season.
