Trade brings community together for peaceful existence: Zubair Motiwala, Chairman PAJCCI

Karachi, January 23, 2023 (PPI-OT):Chairman PAJCCI lauded visit of Afghan business delegation from Kandahar to Chaman to strengthen business ties further. The Afghan delegation will be headed by Haji Abdul Ahad Siddiqui; Board Member and Chairman dispute resolution committee of Kandahar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a leading businessman and head of Kandahar Dry fruit union.

The delegation will arrive today via Chaman border and will participate in stakeholders meeting with PAJCCI and local businessmen. The meeting will also be attended by government officials including customs, FIA and security institutions. Motiwala expressed delight on arrival and active participation of Afghan delegation despite severe weather conditions and on-going difficulties in trade landscape. He said that participation of Afghan delegation is sign of mutual trust and stable trade relationship between the two countries.

Co-Chairman PAJCCI, Khan Jan Alokozai remarked “we are pleased to visit our brother country Pakistan and will continue to support business community of both sides for beneficial trade which both countries rely upon. People of both sides are joined by historic relationship of friendship and trade”. PAJCCI is committed to undertake dynamic measures to engage people, business community and governments of both sides for continued trade and community uplift especially in border regions who are direct beneficiary of the trading activities.
