Turkish Ambassador Explores Investment Opportunities with Dawlance in Karachi

Karachi: The newly appointed Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan, Mr. Irfan Neziroglu, recently paid a visit to the Dawlance head office in Karachi to discuss potential investment opportunities between the two countries. The meeting, attended also by the Consul-General of Turkiye in Karachi, Mr. Cemal Sangu, aimed to bolster the socio-economic relations between Turkiye and Pakistan.

According to Dawlance, the Ambassador expressed his appreciation for the company's innovative approaches, particularly noting the energy-efficient products that have been introduced in Pakistan. He highlighted two of Dawlance's recent product lines—the Prima Line and the D'Solar Line—as examples of significant advancements. The Prima Line includes home appliances designed to meet European standards and tailored to the Pakistani environment. The D'Solar Line, featuring DC refrigerators and freezers that operate on solar power, underscores the company's commitment to sustainable energy solutions.

Umar Ahsan Khan, the CEO of Dawlance, remarked on the honor of engaging with the Turkish government, acknowledging the recognition of Beko's investment of over $50 million in Pakistan since 2016. Khan emphasized the company's dedication to enhancing productivity and creating quality products while fostering economic opportunities for the local workforce.

Dawlance, a leading producer of home appliances and electronics in Pakistan, continues to play a significant role in the nation's economic development by attracting foreign investment and facilitating global technology transfers.
