UBG Denounces Israeli Actions, Calls for Global Intervention

KARACHI: The United Business Group (UBG) has issued a strong condemnation of Israel's recent actions, describing them as unprovoked and calling for international intervention. In a joint statement, key UBG figures, including President Zubair Tufail and Secretary General Hanif Gohar, highlighted the ongoing violence against the Palestinian people, urging major global powers and the United Nations to step in.

The UBG leaders expressed deep concern over the impact of Israel's aggression, noting the significant toll on innocent lives and the distress it has caused among Muslims worldwide. They emphasized the urgent need for the international community to uphold justice and protect Palestinian rights.

President Tufail warned that the conflict is destabilizing the region economically, affecting trade routes and investor confidence, and heightening political tensions. The UBG underscored that these factors are pushing the region towards a deeper crisis.

The organization also urged the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to hold an emergency meeting to develop strategies to prevent further escalation. The leaders stressed the importance of unity among Muslim nations at this critical juncture to safeguard regional stability and promote peace.

The statement concluded with a call for urgent diplomatic and economic measures to address the violence and ensure the protection of millions of lives in the region.
