Urea Sales Surge as DAP Faces Decline in November 2025

Karachi: Urea sales in November 2025 are projected to experience substantial growth, with estimates indicating a 25% year-over-year increase, reaching 817,000 tons. In contrast, DAP sales are expected to decline by 14% for the same month. Overall, the Urea industry's off-take for the first eleven months of 2025 is anticipated to reach 5.4 million tons, reflecting a 4% drop compared to the previous year.

Fauji Fertilizer Company (FFC) is set to report a notable rise in sales, with volumes expected to reach 387,000 tons, marking a 37% increase from the previous year. This includes 77,000 tons of granular Urea. Engro Fertilizers (EFERT) is also projected to see a significant uptick, with sales likely to reach 269,000 tons, representing a 39% growth. Meanwhile, Fatima Fertilizer is expected to maintain its sales volume at 125,000 tons, showing little change from the previous year.

Discounts on Urea have continued throughout the month, with FFC offering reductions of up to Rs100 per bag and EFERT providing discounts as high as Rs350 per bag. Inventory levels are predicted to fall to 1.15 million tons by the end of November 2025, with expectations of further decreases to between 0.8 and 0.9 million tons by the year-end, driven by increased demand in December and a scheduled turnaround at FFC's plant-II.
