Wafi Energy Bolsters NDMA Flood Relief with 5,000-Liter Fuel Donation

Karachi: In a significant gesture to support flood relief efforts, Wafi Energy Pakistan Limited has donated 5,000 liters of diesel and motor gasoline to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA). This donation follows an earlier contribution of 1,000 liters from the company, underscoring its sustained commitment to aiding communities affected by the floods.

The donation event saw the presence of Nawaf Bin Saeed Almalkiy, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan. "It is heartening to see Wafi Energy, which represents Saudi investment in Pakistan, dedicated to serving local communities in their hour of need," Almalkiy said.

Zubair Shaikh, CEO of Wafi Energy, reiterated the company's commitment to supporting flood-affected areas and assisting the NDMA in its crucial operations during this crisis.

Brigadier Qasim Mahmood, Chief of Staff and Director General Coordination at NDMA, expressed gratitude for the timely assistance. "I would like to thank Wafi Energy Pakistan for their immediate and urgent support during this nationwide calamity. We are optimistic that the contribution will help us reach more flood victims to provide them with relief during these pressing times," Mahmood stated.

This initiative highlights the collaboration between corporate entities and governmental bodies in addressing the challenges posed by natural disasters in Pakistan.
