Zaitoon Ashraf IT Park Launched to Bolster Karachi’s Tech Education

Karachi: The Zaitoon Ashraf IT Park, a state-of-the-art IT facility near the Baloch Colony Bridge, was inaugurated by Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori, marking a significant step forward in advancing information technology education in the region.

According to Zameen.Com, the IT park, developed by the Saylani Welfare International Trust, is equipped with advanced IT infrastructure and is designed to offer modern educational opportunities in information technology. During the inauguration, Governor Tessori lauded Saylani’s efforts in IT education and underscored the government’s commitment to supporting private and nonprofit initiatives in the IT sector to increase foreign exchange earnings and drive national development.

The ceremony saw high-profile attendees, including Maulana Bashir Farooq Qadri from Saylani Trust, foreign dignitaries like UAE Consul General Bakheet Al-Rumaithi, and consul generals from Bahrain, Malaysia, Turkey, Japan, Indonesia, and the Deputy Consul General of Iran. The UAE Consul General expressed optimism about the potential of Pakistan’s youth and the project’s contribution to their future success. Maulana Bashir Farooq Qadri projected that by 2035, initiatives like these could significantly reduce Pakistan’s dependency on international financial aid.
