Karachi: Zong 4G has introduced new International Direct Dialing (IDD) bundles and significantly lowered call rates to China, enhancing value for both prepaid and postpaid customers in Pakistan. The telecom leader announced the "Kam Paisay Ziyada Baat" and "Pak-China Friendship Bundle," aimed at facilitating better communication for Chinese expatriates in Pakistan and fostering stronger interpersonal and business ties between the two nations.

According to Zong Pakistan, these new offerings include several plans that provide more minutes for less money, a strategy that triples the resources previously available without increasing the cost. The most affordable rate for calling China has been reduced from Rs. 0.15 per second to Rs. 0.06, reflecting a significant price drop aimed at making international calls more accessible to a broader audience.

The promotional bundles are designed to cater to varying customer needs with options ranging from 75 to 600 minutes, each with specific validities tailored to both short-term and long-term usage. In addition to package details, Zong 4G has also adjusted its default rates for calls to China, lowering them from Rs. 10.70 per minute to Rs. 5.00, a move praised by Khurram Ishaq, Director LDI and International Business at Zong 4G, for its alignment with customer needs and market demand.
