Karachi: Zong has announced a new feature for its prepaid and postpaid subscribers, allowing users to create personalized International Direct Dialing (IDD) bundles.

According to Zong Pakistan, the "IDD Make Your Own Bundle" feature enables customers to tailor their international calling plans to fit their specific needs, offering flexibility and affordability. This innovative service is available exclusively through the My Zong App, providing an enhanced customer experience.

Subscribers can choose their preferred destination, select between landline or mobile calls, and set the number of minutes and validity period that best suits their requirements. Rates begin at PKR 1 per minute for countries like the USA, Canada, and China, with prices reaching up to PKR 19 per minute for Oman. Popular destinations such as Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and the UK are priced between PKR 2 to 15 per minute. The initiative offers significantly lower per-minute rates compared to standard tariffs, ensuring exceptional value.

The process for creating these bundles involves three steps through the My Zong App: accessing the "More" section, selecting "IDD," and choosing "IDD MYOB." Subscribers can activate their bundles within 15 minutes, with prices inclusive of applicable taxes. Bundles automatically expire at the end of their validity period or upon full usage of the allocated minutes. Customers have the option to recreate new bundles as needed, ensuring continuous international communication.
