Karachi: President of the United Business Group (UBG) and former president of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), Zubair Tufail, emphasized the country's solidarity with its armed forces and security institutions amid recent tensions. According to Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Tufail described the recent tensions from the Afghan side as "unwise" and commended Operation "Ghazab-ul-Haq" as a necessary measure to defend Pakistan's sovereignty and security.
Tufail asserted Pakistan's capability to protect its borders and interests, warning that challenges to its sovereignty would be met with a decisive response. He accused unprovoked aggression of targeting civilians, which led to the armed forces' effective response through Operation "Ghazab-ul-Haq," resulting in significant achievements. Tufail reiterated Pakistan's commitment to peace but cautioned against interpreting this as a sign of weakness.
He reinforced the nation's support for the armed forces in safeguarding national security and highlighted the Pakistan Army's readiness to confront any hostile actions. Tufail expressed confidence that attempts to destabilize Pakistan would be thwarted by the unity of the nation and the professional capabilities of its military.
