Canadian Business Leaders Celebrate Legacy of Pakistan’s S.M. Muneer

Karachi: The Canadian business community recently came together to honor the late S.M. Muneer, a prominent figure in international business circles and former Chief Executive of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan. Muneer, affectionately known as Bhaijaan, is remembered for his significant contributions to both Pakistan's and the North American business communities.

The tribute was held during a dinner hosted by Amir Shamsi, CEO of Universal Promotions and President of the Canada-Pakistan Trade and Business Association. The event served as a testament to Muneer's enduring impact on business leaders and the Pakistani diaspora in Canada.

Among the attendees were Pakistan's High Commissioner to Canada, Muhammad Saleem, and Toronto's Consul General, Khaleel Ahmad Bajwa. Both diplomats praised Muneer, describing him as a valuable national asset and underscoring his tireless efforts to address business challenges.

S.M. Naseer, Muneer's brother, shared personal reflections, noting how Muneer raised his family with care. Irfan Muneer, his son, expressed pride in his father's legacy, highlighting Muneer's dedication to the business community and his belief in Pakistan's potential.

Amir Shamsi, the host, remarked on Muneer's lasting influence in Canada, emphasizing his warm hospitality and the indelible mark he left on those who knew him.
