CDA Unveils ‘My Islamabad’ Super App to Digitize Over 150 Civic Services

Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has introduced the ‘My Islamabad’ super app, a comprehensive digital platform providing access to over 150 services. This initiative is part of a broader effort to transform Islamabad into a fully digitized city, enhancing public service delivery and the ease of doing business.

According to Zameen.Com, the app consolidates services from various departments including the CDA, Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI), Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), and the Police. This integration aims to simplify processes for citizens by offering a unified access point to numerous services. The announcement came during a high-level meeting on Thursday, chaired by CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa, where the app’s launch and other digital projects were discussed.

The meeting also covered the expansion of the digital parking system, currently effective in areas like G-8 and Centaurus Mall, to other major commercial zones to improve parking availability and traffic management. Further discussions included the development of digital streamers and the digitization of over 35,000 land and property records, indicating significant progress in Islamabad’s smart city initiatives.

Chairman Randhawa emphasized the rapid development of an IT Park that will transform an existing structure into a state-of-the-art facility expected to create thousands of jobs. He also highlighted the importance of cybersecurity measures to protect user data as digital services expand across the city.

The collaboration with Quaid-i-Azam University for a Silicon Valley project and the implementation of an e-office system to enhance the CDA’s operational efficiency were also key points of discussion. These initiatives reflect the CDA’s commitment to leading digital innovation and promoting sustainable urban development in Islamabad.
