KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah is set to inaugurate the 21st My Karachi - Oasis of Harmony International Exhibition on February 6, 2026, at the Karachi Expo Centre. Over 300 stalls will be featured, offering a variety of products and services at competitive rates for consumers and trade buyers. The event will run until February 8, 2026, providing a platform for both Business-to-Business and Business-to-Consumer interactions.
According to Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), Muhammad Idrees, Chairman Special Committee for My Karachi Exhibition and Former President of KCCI, stated that the event is expected to attract over 800,000 visitors during its three days. The exhibition will see participation from several diplomats and multinational companies, highlighting its international stature and appeal. Idrees emphasized the exhibition's role in showcasing Karachi's vibrancy and economic potential, with a focus on promoting the 'Made in Pakistan' brand.
The My Karachi Exhibition, conceived in 2004 by Late Siraj Kassam Teli, aims to counter negative portrayals of Karachi in international media by presenting a positive image of the city. Despite interruptions in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the KCCI has consistently organized the event as a service to the nation. Idrees expressed gratitude to the Government of Sindh and other agencies for their support in organizing the exhibition.
Participation by manufacturers, exporters, and national brands demonstrates confidence in KCCI and the economic potential of Karachi. The exhibition offers products at discounted rates, benefiting families and consumers. A variety of family-oriented attractions, including a Food Court, Pets and Birds Shows, live music, and fireworks, are planned to enhance the visitor experience.
