Karachi, Currency exchange rates have shown slight fluctuations over the past two days, with minor changes in the buying and selling rates of major currencies including the USD, Euro, GBP, JPY, AED, and SR.
According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, The exchange rates on June 20, 2024, for the USD were 277.61 for buying and 280.32 for selling, while on June 21, 2024, the rates shifted to 277.69 for buying and 280.37 for selling. The Euro saw a buying rate of 294.65 and a selling rate of 297.55 on June 20, which adjusted to 294.94 and 297.79, respectively, on June 21.
The GBP experienced a slight decrease from 348.89 for buying and 352.33 for selling on June 20 to 348.59 and 352.00, respectively, on June 21. The JPY remained relatively stable with a buying rate of 1.71 and a selling rate of 1.76 on June 20, changing to 1.71 and 1.75 the following day.
For the AED, the buying and selling rates on June 20 were 74.90 and 75.62, respectively, which increased to 75.10 for buying and 75.84 for selling on June 21. Similarly, the SR rates moved from 72.99 for buying and 73.70 for selling on June 20 to 73.10 and 73.80 on June 21.
In the interbank market, the USD was traded at 278.60 for buying and 278.80 for selling on June 20, slightly adjusting to 278.51 and 278.71, respectively, on June 21.
