Foodpanda Collaborates with Driving License Sindh to Boost Rider Safety

Karachi: In a move to bolster road safety measures, foodpanda, a leading delivery platform in Pakistan, has partnered with Driving License Sindh (DLS) to conduct a specialized training session for its delivery riders. This collaboration aims to provide riders with the essential skills and knowledge required to ensure safe and responsible navigation on the roads.

According to a statement by Foodpanda, the training session was led by D.B. Ali Suhag, Incharge of the Sindh Police Accident Analysis and Research Center (SPAARC). The session covered crucial topics such as defensive driving techniques, understanding traffic rules, hazard perception, safe vehicle handling, and emergency response procedures.

Ahsan Malik, Head of Logistics at foodpanda Pakistan, emphasized the company's commitment to rider safety. "Riders' safety is our top priority, and investing in their well-being is essential," Malik stated. He highlighted the importance of equipping riders with the right training and resources, noting that the collaboration with DLS is a significant step in enhancing their ability to navigate roads safely.

The training session concluded with the distribution of certificates and included a question and answer segment. Helmets were also provided to the riders, underscoring the emphasis on safety equipment.
