Islamabad: foodpanda, Pakistan's leading online delivery platform, has concluded its Rider Safety and Health Week, underscoring the company's commitment to its riders. The initiative, supported by various partners and internal teams, aimed to provide essential safety knowledge and health resources to its delivery partners.
"The dedication of our delivery partners is what truly drives foodpanda," said Ahsan Malik, Head of Logistics at foodpanda. He emphasized the company's commitment to rider well-being through safety gear, services, and a culture of care.
The week began with a focus on road safety. A video featuring automotive expert Suneel Munj was shared widely on social media, followed by an in-person session at foodpanda's Lahore office. The collaboration with PakWheels aims to enhance rider engagement through digital promotions and safety tips.
Throughout the week, foodpanda partnered with several organizations to equip and empower riders. Atlas Honda conducted a road safety session, while WASL provided bike upgrade options. KAACIB offered bike maintenance services and partnered with foodpanda for additional home services.
Action Oils distributed free engine oils and filters, and Qist Bazaar provided AirPods and access to essential products on easy installments. The partnership included a three-day expo, generating over 100 leads.
Reflective stickers were distributed to improve bike visibility. foodpanda also worked with Karachi Traffic Police to provide road safety training, focusing on defensive driving and traffic laws.
Health was a key component of the initiative. A two-day Health Camp at the Karachi Head Office offered free checkups and tests, benefiting over 100 riders and staff.
This initiative highlights foodpanda's dedication to its riders, investing in their safety, health, and welfare, and ensuring seamless service delivery across Pakistan.
