The benchmark index, after touching an intraday high of 46,785, eventually closed at 46,601, up 117 points DoD. Total traded volume stood at 366mn shares where CNERGY (-0.4%), WTL (-0.5%), GGL (1.8%), PRL (-2.9%) and MLCF (-2.1) were the major contributors. Going forward, we recommend investors to sell on strength as market approaches the 47,000 level and wait for major dips for fresh buying positions.
