Karachi, October 27, 2022 (PPI-OT): View from the desk

Trading activity remained dull and market remained range-bound throughout the day. KSE100 index closed almost flat at the 41,603 level, gaining just 63 points DoD. Traded volume stood at 204mn shares where WTL (-1.4%), DFML (2.4%), TRG (4.7%), KEL (0.4%) and HUMNL (-0.4%) were the volume leaders. The market is expected to remain bearish till further clarity over political situation emerges. JS Securities Limited recommends investors to avail the current downside as an opportunity to buy.
