Bourse remained under pressure throughout the day due to rising political uncertainty, flood loss across Sindh and macroeconomic worries. KSE 100 closed at 42,504, losing 87 points compared to the previous trading session. Traded volume stood at 229mn shares where WTL (-2.3%), KEL (+0.6%), CNERGY (-1.6%), PRL (-0.5%) and UNITY (+0.7%) were the highest contributors. Going forward, we recommend investors to avail any downside as an opportunity to buy in the fertilizer and banking sectors.
