Benchmark index touched an intraday high of 45,180 before finally closing at 45,083, up 128 points DoD. Total traded volume stood at 174mn shares with TRG (5.7%), HUMNL (3.3%), UNITY (3.9%), WTL (1.9%) and CNERGY (-1.1%) being the highest contributors. Index mainly recovered today because of TRG, HUBC, PSEL, MARI and ABL. Going forward, we recommend investors to book profits in the range of 45300 to 45500 and wait for the political dust to settle to take any fresh buying positions.
