Benchmark index touched an intraday high of 45,463 before finally closing at 45,375, up 297 points compared to previous session. Total traded volume today stood at 252mn shares with TREET (5.6%), WTL (1.4%), TRG (2.0%), WAVES (4.8%) and HUMNL (1.7%) being the highest contributors. Index leaders today were BAHL, UNITY, COLG, TRG and PPL. Going forward, we recommend investors to accumulate stocks on dips especially in the banking and fertilizer sectors.
