Market opened on a positive note, but the rising political temperature kept it under pressure the whole day. The index eventually closed at 42,213, gaining 76 points DoD. Traded volume stood at 290mn shares where WTL (-2.6%), PRL (2.2%), NPL (4.8%), CNERGY (1.8%) and DCL (11%) were the major contributors today. Going forward, we recommend investors to remain cautious at current levels and wait for any fresh buying.
