Karachi, October 28, 2021 (PPI-OT): View from the desk

Market opened in the green zone today, however could not sustain psychological barrier of 46,000 points. Profit-taking was witnessed across the board by market participants, where the index closed at 45,985 points. Overall investor participation remained sluggish. Major contribution to the traded volume of 230mn shares today was from HUMNL (3.3%), WTL (-1.7%), ANL (5.7%), BYCO (-1.0%) and MLCF (3.0%). Going forward, we recommend investors to wait for dips in the market and take positions in blue chip stocks across the board.
