The KSE-100 index witnessed range-bound activity today managing to close at the 42,460 level, up 109 points DoD. Total traded volume stood at 248mn shares, up by 37% DoD with major contribution from CNERGY (-0.7%), MLCF (0.9%), FCCL (2.9%), KAPCO (0.1%) and PRL (1.6%). Going forward, range-bound activity and uncertain market sentiment may continue to prevail in the upcoming trading sessions. Hence, any downside can be availed as a buying opportunity in blue chip stocks.
