Karachi: The United Business Group (UBG) has hailed the decisive victory of the Democratic Panel in the annual elections of the Karachi Press Club, describing it as a success for democratic values. S.M. Tanveer, the Patron-in-Chief of UBG, along with other prominent leaders, congratulated the newly elected office-bearers, highlighting the club's pivotal role in upholding journalistic integrity and democratic traditions.
The new leadership comprises President Fazil Jamili, Vice President Irshad Khokhar, Secretary Muhammad Aslam Khan, Joint Secretary Muhammad Farooq Sami, and Treasurer Imran Ayub, supported by Governing Body members including Abdul Jabbar Nasir, Akhtar Soomro, and others.
UBG leaders emphasized that the Karachi Press Club stands as a bastion of responsible journalism, consistently contributing to the restoration of democracy in Pakistan.
