Karachi: The Karachi Interbank Offered Rate (KIBOR) rates remained steady across different tenors, the State Bank of Pakistan announced in its latest release. The bid and offer rates were noted for various periods, ranging from one week to one year.
According to State Bank of Pakistan, the one-week tenor showed a bid rate of 11.39 and an offer rate of 11.89. The two-week tenor had a bid rate of 11.40 and an offer rate of 11.90. For the one-month tenor, the bid and offer rates were 11.41 and 11.91, respectively. The three-month tenor recorded a bid rate of 11.46 and an offer rate of 11.71. The six-month tenor saw bid and offer rates of 11.55 and 11.80. The nine-month tenor showed rates of 11.63 for bids and 12.13 for offers. Lastly, the one-year tenor had a bid rate of 11.66 and an offer rate of 12.16.
These KIBOR rates are used as a benchmark for lending and borrowing between banks in Pakistan.
