KSE-100 Closes Above 70,000; Analysts Urge Caution Amid Overbought Indicators

Karachi, The KSE-100 Index ended another trading session on a high note, surpassing the 70,000 mark, a significant psychological level. However, with indicators showing overbought conditions, analysts are advising investors to exercise caution.

According to JS Global, the index gained 695 points, closing at 70,315. Trading volumes increased to 389 million shares from 336 million in the previous session. While the upward trend suggests potential targets between 71,260 and 71,520, a break above could extend gains to 72,245. Conversely, a drop below the range of 69,850 to 70,280 could signal the start of a corrective trend.

Investors are advised to remain vigilant of the overbought indicators and consider waiting for potential dips before making further investments. The current support and resistance levels are identified at 69,889 and 70,709, respectively.
