Islamabad: The KSE 100 index saw a modest increase of 0.05%, reaching 147,005.31, while the overall Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) market capitalization dipped slightly.
YOUW led the gainers with a substantial 19.65% surge, followed by PGLC and BIPL with gains of 10.00% and 9.58% respectively. Conversely, UNITY experienced the largest decline, dropping 4.15%, with NRL and BNWM also falling significantly.
Trading volume reached 691.66 million shares, amounting to Rs. 44.58 billion (US$ 157.85 million). YOUW and KOSM dominated trading activity. The PSX market capitalization closed at Rs. 17,524.63 billion (US$ 62.05 billion), a marginal decrease. Regional markets showed mixed performance, with gains in China, Indonesia, and the Philippines, while India, Korea, and Malaysia experienced declines.
