KSE100 Index Declines Amid Mixed Market Trends

Karachi: The KSE100 index experienced a decline of 254.59 points, closing at 176,591.77, amid mixed trends in market performance. Meanwhile, the KSE30 index showed a slight increase, gaining 29.18 points to reach 52,467.41.

According to Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, the market turnover witnessed a decrease, with 665,194,180 shares traded compared to 787,893,703 shares previously. The traded value also saw a drop from the previous session, with current figures standing at 30,791,830,726 compared to 39,567,871,264. Market capitalization slightly decreased to 19,787,073,305,141 from 19,814,819,182,503.

The daily report highlights fluctuations in the indices, with the KSE30 reaching a high of 52,969.68 and a low of 52,297.96. The KSE100 recorded a high of 178,291.37 and a low of 176,156.57. The market's performance comes amid global economic uncertainties impacting investor sentiment.
