Lahore: In an unprecedented collaboration, AkzoNobel Pakistan and the Bank of Punjab have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to revitalize public spaces across Punjab. The partnership aims to transform these areas into vibrant expressions of art and culture, using Dulux paints to bring these visions to life.
The initiative, led by the Bank of Punjab, will focus on funding and facilitating necessary approvals for the project, while also supporting scholarships for students at the National College of Arts. AkzoNobel will contribute through its Dulux paints, known for their quality and sustainability, to add color and protection to the province's landscape, starting with Lahore.
This collaboration goes beyond creating murals, as it seeks to provide opportunities, nurture young talent, and foster a thriving cultural community. Mubbasher Omar, CEO of AkzoNobel Pakistan, expressed enthusiasm for the project, emphasizing the potential of paint to inspire communities and generations.
Raza Bashir, Chief of Staff & Strategy at the Bank of Punjab, highlighted the initiative's goal of creating long-term societal value. He noted that the project aims to empower young learners and celebrate Lahore's cultural heritage, making the city more inspiring for its residents.
