Meezan Bank Secures PCI DSS v4.0.1 Certification to Enhance Payment Security

Karachi: Meezan Bank, Pakistan's leading Islamic bank, has attained the PCI DSS v4.0.1 certification, marking a significant advancement in its payment security measures. This accomplishment follows a detailed evaluation conducted by Risk Associates, a globally acknowledged PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA).

According to Meezan Bank Limited, this certification underscores the bank's ongoing dedication to protecting cardholder data and upholding stringent security controls within its expanding digital and payment operations. The achievement aligns with the bank's strategic focus on adopting globally recognized security protocols to ensure safe banking experiences for its customers.

During a formal ceremony, the PCI DSS Certificate of Compliance was presented by Dr. Aftab Rizvi, Chairman of Risk Associates Group, and Mr. Navaid Naqvi, CEO and Country Head of Risk Associates Pakistan. The event was attended by key figures including Mr. Fahd Azam, Chief Information Security Officer at Meezan Bank, and other senior representatives from both Meezan Bank and Risk Associates.
