Multan Launches Registration Camps for ‘Apni Chhat Apna Ghar’ Housing Program

Multan: In an effort to facilitate access to the ‘Apni Chhat Apna Ghar’ housing program, registration and information camps have been set up across Multan district. These camps aim to assist individuals in availing of interest-free home construction loans under a scheme launched by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

According to Zameen.Com, the main registration camps have been established at the DC complex and throughout all tehsils of the district. These centers provide essential guidance on accessing the program’s benefits, which include easy repayment terms designed to make home ownership more accessible to a broader population. Commissioner Maryam Khan and Deputy Commissioner Waseem Hamid Sindhu recently visited one of these camps in Multan to review the operations and gather first-hand feedback from applicants.

During the visit, Deputy Commissioner Sindhu called on the Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency (PHATA) to extend full support to applicants, ensuring they receive all necessary assistance to navigate the program. Commissioner Khan commended the proactive efforts of the district administration and highlighted plans to expand these camps into the surrounding areas of Khanewal, Lodhran, and Vehari to manage the increasing number of applicants, underscoring the program’s significant potential to benefit thousands.
