Karachi: The President of the North Karachi Association of Trade and Industry (NKATI), Faisal Moeez Khan, has aligned with the recent comments from the Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), emphasizing the need for a comprehensive national strategy to tackle the resurgence of terrorism in Pakistan. Khan highlighted that the DG ISPR accurately underscored the limitations of military action alone in eradicating terrorism, pointing to the necessity of strong governance, robust state institutions, and public trust.

According to North Karachi Association of Trade and Industry, Khan stressed that good governance is pivotal for achieving sustainable peace, economic stability, and national development. He called for transparency, adherence to the rule of law, accountability, efficient public service delivery, and a responsive administrative system to address terrorism and other national issues. He urged both federal and provincial governments to focus on institutional reforms and public welfare.

Khan also called on citizens to fulfill their constitutional, national, and moral duties by setting aside political differences to fortify national security, economic resilience, and social unity. He emphasized the importance of collaboration among industrialists, the business community, civil society, and state institutions to foster a more prosperous and stable Pakistan.

Furthermore, Khan noted the significant population growth in Pakistan since independence, arguing that the creation of new provinces should be seriously considered to enhance governance, administrative efficiency, and public service delivery. He suggested that updating the administrative framework to meet contemporary needs would facilitate faster decision-making, balanced regional development, and better public services nationwide.
