Rahim Yar Khan: The Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has announced a major discovery of new gas reserves in the district of Rahim Yar Khan, marking a potentially transformative moment for Pakistan’s energy sector amid ongoing challenges.

According to Zameen.Com, the discovery was made on June 29 with support from the Strategic Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) and is located at a depth of approximately 2,000 meters. This development is expected to significantly bolster Pakistan’s efforts to mitigate its current energy shortfall and stabilize the national energy supply.
