Lahore: The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry has announced that the Pakistan Chemical Forum 2025 will take place from April 24 to 26 at the Expo Centre in Lahore. This three-day event is expected to be a significant platform for the chemical and allied industries in Pakistan, bringing together a diverse group of local and international participants.
Mian Abuzar Shad, President of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, described the forum as an opportunity for industrialists, researchers, academics, students, and investors to engage in business networking and learning. The event will feature numerous stalls displaying chemicals, raw materials, machinery, laboratory equipment, and finished products.
The forum will host four specialized segments, each focusing on different sectors within the chemical industry. These include the Pakistan Coating Show, the PAKCHEM Expo, the Polyurethane Expo, and the PAKLAB Expo. Each segment targets fast-growing areas with export potential and opportunities for industrial development.
Moazzam Rasheed, a former executive committee member of the Lahore Chamber, emphasized the forum's role in knowledge-sharing and capacity-building. Conferences, seminars, workshops, and training sessions will be held alongside the exhibition, providing insights into the latest industry technologies and trends.
A notable feature of the forum is the ChemSMART initiative, designed to empower young graduates and entrepreneurs by offering them a platform to present innovative ideas to industry experts and potential investors. This initiative aims to foster innovation and encourage local entrepreneurship.
Mian Abuzar Shad expressed optimism that the forum will enhance Pakistan's export capabilities and promote its image as a production-oriented economy. The event seeks to demonstrate Pakistan's potential as a manufacturing nation on the global stage.
