Pakistan’s Currency Exchange Rates See Stability Across Major Markets

Karachi: The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan (ECAP) reported stable currency exchange rates in the open market as of July 2, 2025. The US dollar, euro, and other major currencies showed little fluctuation against the Pakistani rupee.

The US dollar was bought at 285.07 PKR and sold at 286.39 PKR. The euro stood at a buying rate of 335.78 PKR and a selling rate of 338.53 PKR, while the British pound was bought at 391.21 PKR and sold at 394.41 PKR.

The Japanese yen, United Arab Emirates dirham, and Saudi riyal also demonstrated stability. The yen was bought at 1.94 PKR and sold at 2.00 PKR. The dirham's rates were 77.65 PKR for buying and 78.10 PKR for selling. Meanwhile, the riyal saw buying and selling prices of 75.98 PKR and 76.40 PKR, respectively.

These rates were sourced from the State Bank of Pakistan and provided by ECAP. The consistent exchange rates reflect the current market's response to global currency trends.
