Karachi: As South Asian Heritage Month commences, Spotify highlights the cultural impact and musical diversity of the region through its Desi hub, featuring artists from across South Asia. The month celebrates the vibrant cultures and histories of eight countries, including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, the Maldives, and Sri Lanka, with a special focus on how these heritages shape the music and lives of some of the area’s top artists.

According to Spotify, the platform has curated a special collection called Spotlight: South Asian Icons, which includes popular playlists and exclusive takeovers by artists like Darshan Raval from India, Adnan Dhool from Pakistan, Kanchana Anuradhi from Sri Lanka, and Pritom Hasan from Bangladesh.
