Sialkot: In a significant move to strengthen bilateral relations, His Excellency Mr. SHARIFZODA Yusuf Toir, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan, along with key delegates, visited the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI). This visit emphasizes the deepening ties between Pakistan and Tajikistan, spotlighted by recent high-level exchanges and strategic agreements aimed at enhancing cooperation across various sectors.
According to The Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Abdul Ghafoor Malik, President of SCCI, highlighted the landmark agreement signed between Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and President Emomali Rahmon during a recent visit. This agreement aims to bolster economic, security, educational, and cultural exchanges. Malik reaffirmed SCCI’s commitment to expanding trade through delegation exchanges and joint ventures, leveraging Sialkot’s renowned manufacturing expertise.
His Excellency Mr. SHARIFZODA expressed gratitude for the hospitality received and outlined the Tajik Embassy’s strategy to explore new collaboration avenues, including facilitating ‘Made in Sialkot’ products’ entry into Central Asia. The Ambassador stressed the importance of an upcoming Trade Exhibition in Tajikistan as a pivotal platform for both countries to strengthen economic and cultural links, highlighting Tajikistan’s role as a key gateway to the broader region, including connections to Russia, Belarus, and the EU.
