UBG and BMP Forge Alliance to Boost Economic Stability

Karachi: In a move hailed as a significant development for Pakistan's business landscape, the Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) expressed strong support for the newly formed alliance between the United Business Group (UBG) and the Businessmen Panel (BMP). The partnership is expected to bolster economic stability and contribute to national prosperity.

Muhammad Ikram Rajput, President of KATI, characterized the collaboration as a landmark event that aligns with the broader national interest. He emphasized that the unity of these influential business groups is crucial for promoting economic stability, ensuring policy continuity, and fostering sustainable growth. The alliance is a result of concerted efforts led by notable figures such as UBG and KATI Patron-in-Chief S. M. Tanveer, Gohar Ejaz, and BMP Chairman Anjum Nisar.

Rajput articulated confidence that this coalition will lead to positive economic outcomes, paralleling successes achieved in other critical areas. "Under S. M. Tanveer's leadership, the business community will triumph in the battle for economic revival," he asserted.

The KATI president praised the decision of UBG and BMP to unite, describing it as a commendable step that prioritizes national interest and economic stability. The alliance is expected to address significant challenges facing the business community, including policy inconsistency, high interest rates, rising gas and electricity tariffs, excessive taxation, and export sector difficulties.

Rajput called on the nationwide business community to support this alliance, emphasizing that collective efforts could propel Pakistan toward becoming an "Asian Tiger" by enhancing industrial and commercial activities.
