Faisalabad, July 28, 2022 (PPI-OT):On the special directives of the Faisalabad Electric Supply Company FESCO (FESCO) Board of Directors (BODs), work has been started for the installation of new power transformers and upgrading projects at different grid stations under the 8th STG program, to strengthen the power distribution system in the FESCO region. In this connection, under the supervision of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) EFSCO Engr. Bashir Ahmad, a double capacity transformer has installed at the 132 KV Khanuana grid station.

Earlier, a power transformer of 10/13 MVA capacity was installed on this grid station, which was upgraded with capacity 20/26 MVA transformer. The FESCO Project Management Unit (PMU), Procurement and PS and C played a key role during the installation of this transformer. The installation of the transformer was completed by the special teams of GSC and GSO Directorates, headed by Superintending Engineer Grid System Operation (GSO) Waqas Baig. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) FESCO Engr. Bashir Ahmed appreciated the efforts of all officers and officials for the installation of power transformers.
