Karachi: In a tribute to her late father, Ms. Zahida Habib has launched the H.M. Habib Endowment Fund at Descon Technical Institute (DTI). The fund honors H.M. Habib, a respected banker and philanthropist known for founding Habib Bank AG Zurich and contributing to Pakistan's economic and educational sectors. The endowment aims to provide ongoing scholarships for students in technical trades at DTI.

The scholarships are designed to help deserving students access quality vocational training. This initiative will equip them with skills necessary for sustainable livelihoods and community development.
