Karachi, In a significant move to aid flood-impacted regions in Sindh, Bank Alfalah has entered into a collaboration with Indus Hospital and Health Network (IHHN) to establish a primary healthcare facility in District Thatta. This initiative, part of a broader effort to support communities devastated by recent floods, aims to provide essential healthcare services to the affected population.

According to Bank Alfalah, the Memorandum of Understanding for this project was signed in Karachi, marking the commencement of a joint effort to address the urgent healthcare needs of people in Makli, District Thatta. The partnership is fueled by a generous $10 million donation from Sheikh Nahayan bin Mubarak Al Nahayan, Chairman of Bank Alfalah, dedicated to flood relief efforts in Pakistan. Bank Alfalah has further pledged PKR 25 million towards the capital expenditure required to establish the Primary Care Health Facility, highlighting its commitment to social responsibility and community support.

Atif Bajwa, President and CEO of Bank Alfalah, emphasized the bank's dedication to humanitarian causes, noting the importance of this partnership with IHHN in bringing healthcare services to those in dire need. The initiative not only demonstrates Bank Alfalah's proactive approach to social issues but also aligns with its long-term strategy to rebuild and support flood-affected communities.
