Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is set to adopt a new E-Office system starting next Monday, aiming to enhance the efficiency of its administrative operations and shift towards a paperless environment.
According to Zameen.Com, the CDA has mandated all its directorates to transition to the e-office system by September 2, as outlined in a notification issued last Friday. This system will centralize core operations and foster transparency by enabling the monitoring of file movements and timelines through a dedicated dashboard, which is expected to minimize delays and improve the administrative effectiveness of the authority.
Furthermore, the CDA is enhancing its digital interface with the public through the upcoming launch of the “My Islamabad” app, which is currently in its testing phase. This app will allow residents to access services from 64 CDA directorates, manage property taxes, water charges, and apply for various certificates. It will also provide functionalities for filing complaints and making payments online. Additionally, the CDA is making significant progress in digitizing its land records, with 30% of the project already completed within a six-month plan.
