Lahore, Imran Amin, CEO of the Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA), also known as Central Business District Punjab (CBD Punjab), conducted a surprise visit to various ongoing projects on Sunday. This initiative aligns with the directives of Chief Minister Punjab, Mohsin Raza Naqvi, to ensure the timely completion of key development projects.
According to Punjab Central Business District Development Authority, CEO Imran Amin's unannounced visit included inspections of the Ghora Chowk Flyover, Lahore Prime CBD Punjab Quaid District, and the CBD Punjab Phases 2 and 3, as well as the Walton Road upgrade. The visit was aimed at assessing the progress of these projects and addressing any potential delays. Executive Director Technical CBD Punjab Riaz Hussain, along with other directors and officials from NESPAK and NLC, accompanied Amin during the inspection.
Amin emphasized CBD Punjab's commitment to timely project completion and expressed satisfaction with the progress. Executive Director Hussain provided detailed briefings on the projects, highlighting significant achievements, including the completion of shuttering for the Ghora Chowk Flyover, progress on the bottom slab of the flyover, and the installation of a geo-grid for the MSE wall. The sub-base for slip roads has been completed, with operationalization expected shortly. The Lahore Prime CBD Punjab Quaid District is currently undergoing hardscaping and landscaping, and the Walton Road upgrade is progressing rapidly to meet its targets.
