Faisalabad: Brigadier Babar Alauddin (retd), Chairperson of the Punjab Chief Minister’s Directorate of Inspection, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Feedback, has reiterated the regional government’s dedication to resolving key utility and infrastructure issues in Faisalabad. The focus is on enhancing sewerage, water supply, and public infrastructure to ensure that residents have access to necessary services.
According to Zameen.Com, during a meeting at the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) head office, Brigadier Alauddin detailed the specific challenges that Faisalabad faces, which differ from other districts in Punjab. He called on agencies such as the Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA), WASA, Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA), and the Municipal Corporation to enhance their operations to better address and resolve the concerns of citizens efficiently and effectively.
Additionally, Brigadier Alauddin emphasized the need for these agencies to improve public engagement through the activation of front desks and the establishment of one-window service desks, especially aimed at serving overseas citizens. This move is part of a broader strategy to streamline services and improve the responsiveness of public institutions in Faisalabad.
