Benchmark index closed 229 points higher today. Major volume was witnessed in mainly BYCO (+6.3%), GGL (-5.5%), WTL (+1.2%), YOUW (+12.3%) and TELE (7.5%) with a total traded volume of 383mn shares. HUBCO (+4.2%) announced its FY21 result today with a final dividend payout of Rs5/share and an EPS of Rs25.97.Going forward, the equity market looks attractive, where buy on dips strategy is advised for the medium-term in the Cement, Steel, Textile and Oil and Gas Exploration sectors.
