KIBOR Rates Show Slight Decrease Across All Tenors

Karachi: The State Bank of Pakistan announced a slight decrease in the Karachi Interbank Offered Rate (KIBOR) across all tenors, according to data released on July 21, 2025. The decline reflects a modest shift in the borrowing landscape for financial institutions in Pakistan.

The KIBOR for the one-week tenor witnessed a bid rate of 10.92% and an offer rate of 11.42%, showing a minor reduction compared to previous figures. Similarly, the two-week tenor saw a bid rate of 10.91% and an offer rate of 11.41%.

For the one-month tenor, the bid rate was recorded at 10.86%, with the offer rate standing at 11.36%. The three-month tenor experienced a bid rate of 10.81% and an offer rate of 11.06%.

The six-month tenor saw rates at 10.76% for the bid and 11.01% for the offer. The nine-month tenor recorded a bid rate of 10.71% and an offer rate of 11.21%.

The one-year tenor showed a bid rate of 10.66% and an offer rate of 11.16%, marking a continuous trend of slight reductions across the board.

The adjustments in KIBOR rates provide insight into the current economic conditions and monetary policy stance of the State Bank of Pakistan.
